A grey, damp day.

Ingesting Mrs. Heywood’s Monk’s Withecombe Super-Breakfast Of Expansiveness And Morning-Supporting Nutrivity and over to the studio…

Dinosaur in surround. The wonderful, trashing, thrashing clattering continues.

11.07 Walking On Air.

When mixing with Steven (Wilson), Steven does 90-98% of the work. Working with Jakko, the mixing is collaborative. For THRAK in 5.1, I put on mixing ears and got hands dirty. This represents a return to studio life for me.

And an e-mail has arrived from the non-industrial dispute. Well.

11.38 B’Boom and THRAK:  crash! CRASH!

12.14 Sonic immersion in the clattering mess that is The Double Trio thrakking away. The sweet spot has been extended, even disregarded.

17.36 Stunning lunch with gifts of local bread and office-bottom butter. Back to more bishing! crashing! thrashing!

Now the Coda to VROOOM VROOOM.

18.27 The album is being glued together.

19.25 Through-listen is about-to-be-becoming I…

Superb. A few more fine-detail tweaks needed.

Leaving SAM c. 20.25, arriving home c. 22.55. Unloading, dribbling. The Minx will be arriving in the early hours.
